They are looking for a Mandarin Speaking Business Development Consultant.The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining the firm’s client base within the Chinese, European-based business community in the UK and Europe using a range of marketing tools.Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner, Working holiday, Graduate, Freelance(Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorshipWORK TYPE: Hybrid workingTYPE: full-timeWORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to FridaySALARY: 30 – 40k depending on experienceSTART: ASAPMandarin Speaking Business Development Consultant Main Responsibilities:Account manage Chinese clients with a particular focus on strategic cross-selling of specialist professional servicesAct within all relevant compliance regimes applicable to the professional services offered by the firmMaintain and update relevant databasesMaintain written notes (in English) of clients/sales meetings and substantive telephone conversationsProvide a written weekly report on business activity, notes, and recommendations regarding marketing and sales strategies to Director- Chinese ServicesGenerate new business interests through close contact with other account specialists within the firm, external stakeholders, and clientsCarry out marketing activities to the Chinese sector including translating the firm’s newsletters and conducting surveysEnsure that business is conducted ethically and professionallyMandarin Speaking Business Development Consultant Ideal Candidate:Fluent in written and spoken English and MandarinGood understanding of Chinese/Far Eastern working cultureHigh level of computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Legal qualificationExperience working with Chinese state-owned companies
