Freelance Business Development Consultant – Architecture
We’re a growing architecture firm based in London, building a compact, world-class practice with global reach. Our goal is to become the go-to international architects for ambitious clients—operating across sectors, collaborating across continents, and competing with the best in the industry. To help us get there, we’re looking for a sharp, connected freelance Business Development Consultant to uncover new opportunities, open doors, and help us win work on a global scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying and pursuing architectural project leads worldwide
- Building strong relationships with potential clients, collaborators, and industry stakeholders
- Attending strategic networking events and conferences (virtually or in-person)
- Reporting weekly on outreach, lead status, and business development activity
- Sharing market insights and advising on international growth strategy
- Optional support (if agreed) with bidding, project management, design, 3D modelling, or drawings
Who we’re looking for:
- A self-starter with a proven network in architecture, property, or construction
- Commercially minded with a global perspective and a bias for action
- Confident, credible, and professional in front of senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of results
- Bonus: experience in emerging markets
