Our Cyder Business Development Manager
Yes – you’ve read it right, Cyder spelt with a ‘Y’. The Newt’s Cyder Press and Cellar is unique and sits firmly in the forefront of the Visitor Attraction (VA) of the estate with a modern cellar, and state of the art bottling and labelling line. Our ethos is 100% juice, artisan cyder with no water or artificial sweeteners / flavourings. We have a range of cyders such as Traditional Method Sparkling, Modern, Ice, Single Variety and Blended. The recipes have been perfected over the past 6 years for hotel guests and visitors to enjoy. We are now on a mission to take them to the finest restaurants, bars and retailers as we change the perception of cider in the UK.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven person to join our team and represent our premium line of fine cyders. As a key member of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in growing our brand’s presence, building relationships, and driving sales. Your mission will be to introduce our high-quality cyders to new customers, establish new routes-to-market and develop current relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales plan that targets new accounts while nurturing and growing relationships with existing customers.
- Account Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in targeted bars, restaurants, retailers, and other venues to increase cyder sales.
- Brand Representation: Serve as the brand ambassador, educating customers on the uniqueness, taste profiles, and benefits of our fine cyders. Conduct tastings and product demos to engage potential buyers and drive interest.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with new accounts. Work on increasing cyder listings across different sales channels.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer interactions. Regularly report on sales progress, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Promotions & Events: Plan and execute local promotional events, trade shows, and festivals to increase brand awareness and boost sales.
- Customer Support & Service: Provide ongoing support to accounts, assisting with product orders, delivery schedules, and resolving any issues related to sales or product availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations teams to ensure effective communication, product availability, and promotional activities.
