Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a ualified Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and help make a positive impact on our students’ learning journey.About the role Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum to students, working both individually and in small groups.
  • Provide assistance to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their best.
  • Assist in the preparation of lesson materials and classroom resources.
  • Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback where necessary.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Help maintain classroom discipline and encourage students to engage in their learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified: Must hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Experienced: At least 1 years’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
  • Skilled: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiarity with the National Curriculum and strategies for supporting students with a range of learning needs.
  • Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Positive: A proactive, enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
