Sales Administrator / Customer Service – Hertford

Location: Hertford, UK

Salary: Around £28,000 (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:45 am-5:15 pm | Fri 8:45 am-4:15 pm

I am representing a well-established engineering company in Hertford that is looking for a Sales Administrator / Customer Service professional to join their team. If you’re organised, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Responding to global customer enquiries and providing quotations

✅ Processing sales orders and ensuring accurate data entry into SAP

✅ Coordinating with purchasing and manufacturing to progress orders

✅ Monitoring shipments and keeping customers updated on delivery timelines

✅ Assisting customers via phone, email, and web chat

✅ Managing daily documentation and electronic filing

Strong communication skills – confident in dealing with customers worldwide

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

A team player with a proactive and positive approach

Previous experience in sales administration or customer service preferred
