Business Manager

My client, who are leaders in their field, are looking for a Business Manager who will be responsible for Account Management and Business Development. This role is suited for an excellent relationship builder, who will embed themselves in our existing accounts, ensuring that we deliver our services to a high standard and ensuring customer satisfaction, enabling clients to rely on their Account Manager for trusted advice.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  1. Managing and sustaining accounts and maximizing revenues.
  2. Being accountable for and managing quarterly account planning/strategy and pipeline.
  3. Involved in commercial decisions that impact the revenue streams of those accounts.
  4. Identifying market trends to grow incremental revenue/opportunities.
  5. Achieving sales targets.

Business Development

  1. Uncover new business opportunities in a proactive and innovative manner.
  2. Achieve the annual set targets as agreed with the Sales Director.
  3. Ensure all clients within your responsibility are kept up to date with the products and services being offered.
  4. Build personal and company relationships with all clients within your responsibility.
  5. Own and communicate Account Development for our key/target clients.

Knowledge

  1. Sales opening and closing techniques.
  2. Experience selling IT & Infrastructure and/or data centre solutions to end-users.
  3. Understanding of the IT industry and its various elements.
  4. Strong business and commercial acumen.
  5. RFP process (Sales Processes).
  6. Familiarity with utilizing Sales Database – CRM.
