A position with a large development company to manage the technical design review for a large pumped storage hydroelectric project in South East Asia. You will be responsible for setting up, and leading a design office in the capital city, managing a team of technical experts managing 2 pumped storage projects who are using the same EPC contractor and Owners Engineer.
Reporting to the Project Director for Pumped Storage and the Chief of Projects for Hydro & Dams.
What you will bring:
- Masters or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experienced in leading large hydropower projects
- At least 15 – 20 years experience, as either Project Manager, Technical, Engineering or Design Manager of large projects over 1B USD
- Extensive experience of management and reporting of project cost risk and progress.
- Experience in working with Chinese EPC Contractors and Design Institutes
