Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a fast-paced environment, carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and respond promptly to electrical faults and breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Carry out electrical installations, inspections, and necessary repairs while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify issues with electrical systems, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Adhere to all relevant electrical safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations. Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Perform electrical testing and inspections, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Be available for on-call duties after completing the required training and competency period. Callout payments and a disturbance allowance apply when on-call.

Competitive Pay & Overtime

  • £36500pa – Day shift no weekends
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard rate for hours worked beyond 40 per week
  • Call out allowance of £200 per month
  • Callout payment of £75 per callout

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 18th Edition, or equivalent)
  • Experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial, commercial, or facilities environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance requirements
  • A valid driving license is required (must be obtained within six months if not already held)
