Cayr Charity is hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Women’s Textile Portraits Project, an initiative using creative health practices to support women affected by breast cancer.

Location: North LondonRate: £200 per day (7.5 hours)Duration: 20 days between April-October (excluding August)

Weekly check-in: Tuesday or Thursday (flexible with the candidate)Travel expenses covered

Key Responsibilities:

• Community outreach and participant engagement
• Engaging local businesses and organisations
• Distributing flyers and marketing materials
• Encouraging sign-ups for workshops and exhibitions
• Supporting the project’s final exhibition in October

Requirements:

• Experience in community engagement, outreach, or public engagement
• Understanding of arts and health projects
• Daytime availability required (this role is not suitable for those in full-time employment)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding training
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
