The Role

Your primary goal is to ensure we consistently have the right stock, in the right quantities, at the right time. You will leverage your merchandising expertise to provide regular performance insights and identify emerging trends to help drive sales. This includes managing delivery and shipment deadlines, addressing risks, and ensuring stock intake aligns with planned levels, while providing weekly updates on any intake issues.

You will also review daily operations, ensuring efficient processes across all departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and assess reports/information for weekly trading meetings and product meetings.
  • Ensure that decision-making tools reflect the most accurate trading position on sales, stock, and intake.
  • Suggest trading opportunities to maximise sales and profit, and provide the business with analysis on individual product performance. Monitoring sell-through and stock levels of new products to ensure sales are maximized.
  • Manage the company cashflow documents to align inventory with sales, prevent overstocking and cash bottle necks
  • Review product availability, assessing issues, and proposing actions to improve availability and provide solutions. Monitoring stock covers and reacting to any under/over stock issues, driving solutions to inventory concerns by working with the wider product and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the founders and designer to create and set seasonal budgets, using range plans, and adjust them as data informs.
  • Manage the 3PL relationship, ensuring a productive and smooth way of workings. 
  • Ensure packaging levels are kept at appropriate stock levels.
  • Manage the cross-border commerce with a third party integration and Shopify Markets. Ensure international pricing is reflective of the business strategy and aligned with profitability targets.
