We are recruiting for an experienced Despatch Manager to join a busy and growing manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based in the West Lothian area.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Production Manager and liaising with production teams you will oversee and manage the day-to-day despatch operations
- Plan and coordinate daily despatch activities to ensure all orders are ready, packed, loaded and shipped on time and in full
- Monitor and supervise the day to day performance of the team, coaching and managing to ensure high levels of performance and productivity and to minimise any errors or damages
- Maintain a clean, safe, and health and safety compliant environment
- Help to monitor stock levels and ensure accurate stock recording
- Track shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery to customers and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor and report KPIs and trends
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse despatch management is essential
- Specific experience within the fenestration sector is essential
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in stock management systems and logistics software
- Problem resolution and customer service skills
