Warehouse Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Despatch Manager to join a busy and growing manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based in the West Lothian area.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Production Manager and liaising with production teams you will oversee and manage the day-to-day despatch operations
• Plan and coordinate daily despatch activities to ensure all orders are ready, packed, loaded and shipped on time and in full
• Monitor and supervise the day to day performance of the team, coaching and managing to ensure high levels of performance and productivity and to minimise any errors or damages
• Maintain a clean, safe, and health and safety compliant environment
• Help to monitor stock levels and ensure accurate stock recording
• Track shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery to customers and resolve any issues that may arise
• Monitor and report KPIs and trends

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse despatch management is essential
• Specific experience within the fenestration sector is essential
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in stock management systems and logistics software
• Problem resolution and customer service skills
