Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our FinTech clients company based in London. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and from our London office, providing the perfect balance for a motivated professional looking to make a significant impact.
As Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. You will work closely with senior management, operational teams, and regulators to promote a culture of compliance and safeguard our reputation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FCA, AML, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks.
- Policy Development : Create, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and business needs.
- Risk Assessment : Identify and assess compliance risks, implementing robust controls and monitoring programs to mitigate potential issues.
- Monitoring and Auditing : Conduct regular audits, compliance reviews, and investigations to evaluate adherence to policies and regulations.
- Training and Awareness : Deliver training programs and workshops to staff, ensuring a thorough understanding of compliance requirements across the organization.
- Reporting : Prepare and submit regulatory reports, keeping senior management informed of compliance matters and emerging risks.
- Stakeholder Liaison : Act as the primary point of contact with regulators and external auditors, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Proven experience in a compliance management role, ideally within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA, AML, and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- A recognized compliance qualification (e.g., ICA, CISI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fintech or payments industry trends is a plus.
