My client, a global HFT Shop, are seeking an expert C++ Developer to join a brand-new trading pod in London.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a newly established technology function within a pod, where you will take on the responsibility of developing, designing, and optimizing a cutting-edge trading system specifically tailored for London equities and futures.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a system from the ground up, where you will be involved in the full lifecycle of its creation—ranging from architecture design and system development to continuous enhancement and performance tuning.

Requirements:

  • Excellent programming and technology skills, including an in-depth understanding of or strong knowledge in C++.
  • Ability to take ownership of technical products and projects focussing on increasing automation.
  • A desire to take a hands-on approach, embracing the opportunity to be creative when solving problems and developing products.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work independently and demonstrate project ownership

A successful candidate must come from the buy-side and have an in-depth and excellent understanding of C++.
