Hunter AHP are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Dispensary Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with previous outpatient hospital experience to contribute to an essential part of healthcare in the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications for outpatient services
• Ensuring compliance with NHS and hospital protocols
• Providing expert advice on medication management to patients and healthcare teams
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control
• Contributing to the efficient running of the dispensary department
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an outpatient hospital pharmacy setting is essential
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full-time availability with the flexibility to work ongoing hours
