Wraparound and Childcare Programme Coordinator Rochdale4 months initially Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid

To implement the wraparound and childcare programme across Rochdale ensuring provision is sustainable and meets the needs of working parentsTo work in collaboration with partners and teams across the local authority, schools, families and childcare providers to assess supply and demand, and expand wraparound childcare provision that is accessible to children and families, including those with SENDUndertake, review and update mapping of current wraparound and childcare provisionTo lead consultation with children, parents and carers, providers, and partners about demand for wraparound childcare and their viewsProvide business planning and marketing advice and guidance to new and existing early years childcare providers and schoolsWork closely with finance officers and providers to complete funding applications and business plans to support development of high-quality provisionProvide ongoing monitoring, advice, support and challenge providers to ensure high quality inclusive practice is maintained, improvements are monitored and poor practice is reported through appropriate channelsIdentify and share models of best practice, effectively engage with providers to secure high quality provision that meets all regulatory requirementsCommunicate the wraparound offer through existing channels to parents and families, the public, wraparound childcare providers and other key agenciesMonitor and report on take up, availability, supply and demand and work with the DfE to provide ongoing accurate data to support with the monitoring and evaluation of the programmeMaintain accurate and effective records and plans, provide regular reports as requiredTo ensure any safeguarding concerns identified relating to the welfare and safety of children and raised and progressed through the appropriate processes and procedures                                                                                                                            Requirements

Experience of working collaboratively with parents, carers and partners delivering changeExperience of managing and monitoring budgets, financial planning, projections and implementing year end processesKnowledge and understanding of current legislation and relevant key local/national policies relating to early years, wraparound provision and vulnerable childrenKnowledge of safeguarding processes, policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services in an equal opportunities employer.
